Crossfire Pro Index and squaring gauge Tools

Summary

This gauge will make it easy for you to accurately locate sheets and also to index sheets for larger parts than the footprint of the machine. The dxf is setup for 12 gauge material. The two edge pieces need to be welded together and cut with the Pro to create the edges that are perfectly straight to the axes of the machine. I will link some videos in the comments below that explain how its done. I used all 1/4-20 hardware to mount everything. 4 flathead , 16 panhead screws. I used 2 stick on rulers and claercoated over them then masked it off and bed lined the rest. I will also link videos that explain how I setup indexing from Inkscape,Sheetcam, and finally the machine cutting the index. The video show me cutting 48" in the y direction.

did you make a video by chance of you mounting this brackets?

Jacob Dykas (OP) - 4 years ago
No I didn't. What I did was ,move the torch to the limits of the machine and center the brackets as they relate to the center of the torch.

how do you get the toolpath for cutting each slot and the holes? when trying to produce 2d sketch for cutting, i receive and error message and it omits all the slot cuts and holes from the cutting toolpath. using fusion360

Did you change the design? The cut file does not have pieces like the ones shown in your first pic.
